अंकाईचा किल्ला हे पश्चिम सातमाळा पर्वत रांगेतील एक ऐतिहासिक स्थळ आहे. हे महाराष्ट्र राज्यातील नाशिक जिल्ह्यात येवला तालुक्यात आहे. भौगोलिकदृष्ट्या ते मनमाड जवळ आहे.

अंकाई आणि टंकाई समीप दोन भिन्न किल्ले आहेत. दोघांना सुरक्षित ठेवण्यासाठी एक सामान्य किल्ला बांधला आहे. पूर्वेकडील अरुंद नाक वगळता, अंकाईचा किल्ला सर्व बाजूंनी लंबदार दोर्‍या असलेल्या टेकडीवर आहे.

टंकाईचा किल्ला हा एक टेकडी आहे. हा सातमाळा रेंजचा एक भाग आहे. हा नाशिक जिल्ह्यातील सर्वात मजबूत डोंगराचा किल्ला अंकाई-टंकाई म्हणून ओळखला जातो. मैदानापासून ९०० फूट उंच आणि समुद्रसपाटीपासून ३२०० फूट उंच आहे.

गडाभोवती बरीच जागा पाहन्यासारखी आहे, यासह: किल्ल्याच्या पायथ्याशी दोन स्तरांवर पसरलेल्या जैन लेण्या, खालच्या स्तरावर दोन गुहा आहेत, त्यापैकी कोणत्याही गुहेत मूर्ती नाहीत. वरच्या स्तरावर, पाच गुहा आहेत ज्यामध्ये महावीर मूर्ती चांगल्या स्थितीत आहेत. मुख्य गुहेत यक्ष, कमळ आणि भगवान महावीर यांचे कोरीव काम आहे.

किल्ल्याच्या दक्षिणेकडील बाजूस एक खडक-पाण्याच्या कुंड्यांची मालिका आहे. गडावरील सर्व आकर्षणे पाहण्यासाठी सुमारे दोन तास लागतात.

           Ankai-Tankai Fort

Ankai Fort is a historical site in the Western Satmala mountain range. It is located in Yeola Taluka of Nashik District in the state of Maharashtra. Geographically, it is close to Manmad.

There are two different forts near Ankai and Tankai. A common fort has been built to keep the two safe. With the exception of the narrow nose on the east, Ankai fort is on a hill with vertical ropes on all sides.

The fort of Tankai is a hill. It is part of the Satmala Range. This strongest hill fort in Nashik District is known as Ankai-Tankai. It is 900 feet above the ground and 3200 feet above sea level.

There is a lot to see around the fort, including: Jain caves spread over two levels at the base of the fort, there are two caves on the lower level, none of which have idols. On the upper level, there are five caves in which the idols of Mahavir are in good condition. The main cave has carvings of Yaksha, Kamal and Lord Mahavira.

On the south side of the fort is a series of rock-water cisterns. It takes about two hours to see all the attractions on the fort.
