अलंग, मदन व कुलंग किल्ला

अलंग किल्ला किंवा अलंगगड हा महाराष्ट्राच्या नाशिक जिल्ह्यातील एक किल्ला आहे. हा किल्ला सर्वात कठीण किल्ल्यांपैकी एक आहे. अलंग किल्ला पश्चिम घाटाच्या कळसुबाई परिसरामध्ये योग्यरित्या वसलेला आहे. ह्या किल्याला दाट जंगलाने वेढलेले आहे. 

या कळसूबाई परिसरात जवळजवळ तीन किल्ले वसलेले आहेत. पश्चिम घाटातील कळसूबाई परिक्षेत्रातील या तीन किल्ल्यांपैकी एक म्हणजे मदनगड व दूसरा कुलंग. नाशिक जिल्ह्यातील या दोन किल्ल्यांवर पोहोचणे सर्वात अवघड ते म्हणजे मदनगड आणि कुलंग. येथे या पर्यटनस्थळाला लोक हॉलिडेसाठी भेट देतात.

अलंग किल्ला इतर किल्ल्यांच्या तुलनेने लहान आणि छोटीसी पठार आहे. गडावर एक गुहा व दोन पाण्याचे कुंड आहेत. गडावर काहीही मानवनिर्मित वास्तू नाहीत. या किल्ल्याच्या पूर्वेस कळसुबाई, औंढा किल्ला, पट्टा आणि बिटानगड आहेत; उत्तरेस हरिहर, त्र्यंबकगड आणि अंजनेरी; हरिश्चंद्रगड, आजोबागड, खुट्टा (शिखर), रतनगड आणि दक्षिणेस कात्रबाई आणि पश्चिमेस कुलंग.

अलंग किल्ल्यावर जाण्यासाठी इगतपुरी / कसारा-घोटी-पिंपळनेरमोर मार्गाने कसारा किंवा इगतपुरी आणि नंतर आंबेवाडीला जाता येते. घोटी ते आंबेवडी अशी बस सेवा आहे. घोटीपासून २ किमी अंतरावर आंबेवाडी आहे. घोटी ते आंबेवाडीला सकाळी बस सेवा उपलब्ध असते. तेथून अलंग, मदन आणि कुलंग सहजपणे आपण पाहू शकतो. आंबेवाडीहून, अलंग ते मदन दरम्यानच्या वाटेवर जाण्यासाठी 2 तास लागू शकतात. कड्यातून डाव्या बाजूस दिसणारा किल्ला अलंग आहे, तर उजव्या बाजूला मदन आहे.

There are about three forts in this Kalsubai area. Madangad and Kulang are one of the three forts in the Kalsubai range in the Western Ghats. The most difficult to reach these two forts in Nashik district are Madangad and Kulang. Here people visit this tourist spot for holidays.

Alang fort is a small plateau compared to other forts. There is a cave and two water tanks on the fort. There are no man-made structures on the fort. To the east of this fort are Kalsubai, Aundha fort, Patta and Bitangad; Harihar, Trimbakgad and Anjaneri to the north; Harishchandragad, Ajobagad, Khutta (peak), Ratangad and Katrabai to the south and Kulang to the west.

To reach Alang fort, one can take Igatpuri / Kasara-Ghoti-Pimpalnermore route to Kasara or Igatpuri and then to Ambewadi. There is a bus service from Ghoti to Ambewadi. Ambewadi is at a distance of 2 km from Ghoti. Morning bus service is available from Ghoti to Ambewadi. From there we can easily see Alang, Madan and Kulang. From Ambewadi, the journey from Alang to Madan can take up to 2 hours. The fort seen on the left side of the fort is Alang, while Madan is on the right side.
